Supporting your nervous system through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.

Pregnancy is one of the most powerful, transformative seasons of a woman’s life. From the earliest weeks through labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, your body is constantly adapting to support both you and your growing baby.

At The Den Chiropractic, we believe this journey deserves more than simply being “managed.” It deserves to be supported, understood, and approached with care that honors both the physical and neurological changes taking place.
With a deep appreciation for the natural harmony of the journey during pregnancy, our approach aims to help you embrace this transformative time with greater ease, vitality, and joy. Let us be your partners in achieving an empowered, and balanced natural pregnancy journey.

Pregnancy is not a condition - it’s a process

In today’s healthcare landscape, pregnancy can sometimes feel overly clinical or problem-focused. Many women are left navigating physical tension, fatigue, emotional overwhelm, and uncertainty without feeling truly supported or empowered.

As your body changes, your nervous system plays a central role in how you adapt to:

  • Postural and pelvic shifts
  • Hormonal changes
  • Increased physical demands
  • Emotional and mental stress
  • Preparation for labor and delivery

Our role is to support how your body organizes and responds to these changes, so you can move through pregnancy with greater ease and confidence.

A nervous-system-centered approach to prenatal care

Prenatal chiropractic care at The Den focuses on how your spine, pelvis, and nervous system are working together during pregnancy.

Using safe, pregnancy-appropriate assessments and adjustments, our doctors support:

  • Pelvic balance and alignment as your body changes
  • Clear communication between the brain and body
  • Reduced patterns of tension and compensation
  • Your body’s natural adaptability throughout pregnancy

Care is always individualized, non-invasive, and respectful of where you are in your journey.

Pregnancy

The Webster Technique

Dr. Emily is certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment focused on the pelvis and surrounding soft tissues during pregnancy. It is designed to support pelvic balance and reduce areas of tension that may develop as the body adapts to pregnancy.

This technique is commonly incorporated into prenatal chiropractic care as part of a whole-body, nervous-system-focused approach.

More than adjustments — a place of support

For many women, The Den becomes more than a place to come for care. It’s a space where you’re welcomed, listened to, and supported by a team that understands pregnancy and postpartum transitions. Our practice is deeply family-centered, and we value connection, education, and community alongside care.

We also recognize that pregnancy doesn’t end at birth.

Postpartum support for mom and baby

The postpartum period is a time of immense change — physically, neurologically, and emotionally. As your body recovers and adapts after delivery, chiropractic care can support your nervous system as it recalibrates to:

  • New physical demands
  • Feeding and carrying positions
  • Sleep disruption and fatigue
  • The emotional transition into motherhood

Our care continues alongside you during this season, supporting both mom and baby as your family finds its new rhythm.

What moms often share

While every pregnancy and postpartum journey is unique, many women share that chiropractic care helps them feel:

  • More comfortable and supported in their changing body
  • More aware of how their body is adapting
  • More confident moving through pregnancy and postpartum
  • More connected to their care team

Our intention is never to “fix” pregnancy, but to support your body’s innate ability to adapt and function during this remarkable season.
