Welcome to the Den Chiropractic

Where Kelowna families stay healthy, naturally!

The Den Chiropractic was founded by husband-and-wife chiropractors, Dr. Emily and Dr. Kent Rempel, with a shared vision to bring neurologically focused family care to the Okanagan. What began as a small practice has grown into truly the most heart-centered, caring, and experienced team in Kelowna. Our team of doctors and Care Advocates are united by one mission — to help children and families regulate, adapt, and thrive naturally.

At The Den, we focus on the nervous system as the foundation of health. Our care helps growing bodies and developing minds function at their best, supporting healthy development, adaptability, and overall well-being. Together, our team is redefining what natural healthcare looks like — creating a safe, empowering space where families can heal, connect, and live with greater ease.

Dr. Kent Rempel

Chiropractor + Owner

Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Dr. Kent’s journey into chiropractic began after an injury ended his collegiate athletic career at the University of Saskatchewan, where he played three years of football. Through chiropractic care, he not only recovered physically but also gained a new understanding of how powerful the nervous system is in supporting the body’s ability to heal and adapt. That experience sparked his passion for helping others reach their full potential through natural, neurologically based care.

Dr. Kent went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with advanced training in Sports Chiropractic. While his early focus centered on athletic performance and recovery, he soon recognized that the same principles that help athletes thrive apply to every stage of life—from newborns to parents and grandparents. This realization led him to expand his care to families, with a particular interest in supporting healthy nervous system development in children.

In practice, Dr. Kent provides individualized care plans that support the body’s ability to adapt to life’s physical, chemical, and emotional stressors. He utilizes Full Spine, Thompson, Activator, extremity adjusting, and Active Release Technique to deliver precise, effective, and gentle adjustments for every patient.

Outside the office, Dr. Kent continues to live an active lifestyle—competing in Ironman races, downhill skiing in the winter, and spending summers hiking, camping, and enjoying a cold beer on a sunny Okanagan patio. He’s passionate about helping families stay healthy, adaptable, and connected through all seasons of life.

Dr. Emily Burton

Chiropractor + Owner

Dr. Emily was born in Dayton, Ohio, and graduated with Honors from Otterbein University with a degree in Biochemistry and a Nutrition minor. She found that the philosophy of chiropractic aligned with her personal belief that health comes from the inside out. This began her journey to obtaining a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Life University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and met her husband Dr. Kent.

Dr. Emily’s passion is serving families through chiropractic care, preconception care, prenatal care, pediatric care, and whole family wellness. Dr. Emily continued her education by becoming Webster certified, and is currently in the process of obtaining her CACCP through the International Pediatric Chiropractic Association. In the office, she focuses on low-impact adjusting styles. She uses various techniques including MC2, activator, Full Spine, and Thompson. With her experience of being a collegiate soccer player as well as teaching yoga for 12 years, Dr. Emily has an appreciation for how the structure of the body affects the function of the body.

Dr. Emily’s favorite part of being a chiropractor is being a partner in each new and growing family’s wellness care – from pre-conception to pregnancy, to adjusting all the little ones. She feels so grateful to be a part of a community here in the Okanagan that comes together around holistic health. Her favorite pastime is walking through the farmer’s market buying local produce, or curling up with a coffee and a good book.

Dr. Nolan Parsons

Chiropractor

Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Nolan grew up immersed in competitive hockey, where chiropractic care became a cornerstone of his recovery and performance. Beyond the physical benefits, he noticed that consistent care helped him feel calmer, more focused, and more connected—both on and off the ice. Experiencing those changes firsthand inspired his curiosity about the nervous system and how it influences every aspect of health and development.

That passion led him to Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees. During his studies, Dr. Nolan developed a strong interest in family, pediatric, and performance-based care, and later completed his internship right here at The Den Chiropractic. It was during that experience that he fell in love with neurologically focused pediatric care—witnessing how gentle, specific adjustments could help babies, kids, and families regulate, grow, and thrive.

Today, Dr. Nolan provides individualized, nervous system-based care for all members of the family. He utilizes a variety of techniques—including Full Spine, Activator, Thompson, and extremity adjustments—to create customized care plans that support the body’s ability to heal, adapt, and function at its best. His approach is both precise and compassionate, helping patients of all ages experience more ease, energy, and connection in their daily lives.

Now calling Kelowna home, Dr. Nolan loves exploring the Okanagan—whether that’s hiking new trails, discovering local coffee spots, or relaxing by the lake. He’s passionate about helping people live to their fullest potential through chiropractic care that honors the body’s natural intelligence.

Dr. Jeff Pereverzoff

Chiropractor

For more than two decades, Dr. Jeff has served families with modern, neurologically based chiropractic care focused on helping people live with greater vitality and ease. His passion for chiropractic began at just 11 years old when his ongoing headaches and nosebleeds resolved after receiving care – an experience that sparked his lifelong belief in the body’s ability to heal naturally.

At 16, while golfing with a medical doctor, Dr. Jeff received advice that shaped his future: “If you really want to help people, don’t go into medicine or dentistry. Get into chiropractic. Because the lifestyle in the chiropractic profession is second to none.” After his first year of college, he followed that calling and went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer West in California.

Years into practice, his oldest son’s health struggles deepened his perspective on true wellness. Dr. Jeff realized that health is influenced not only by physical stress, but also by chemical and emotional factors. This led him to study the Torque Release Technique (TRT)—a gentle, research-based approach to restoring nervous system balance. He implemented this technique into his practice and quickly developed a reputation for excellence in this specific approach to care within the Kelowna community.

Today, Dr. Jeff combines precision chiropractic care with practical wellness principles to help families thrive from the inside out. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons, golfing, visiting local wineries, and making the most of life in the Okanagan.
